![]() I met Jesus in 1968; I was twelve years old. He has been my personal Savior since that time. I am so thankful we have had this personal relationship for so long. I wonder sometimes how those without that relationship survive. Life hasn't been easy, yet I know some who have had it much more difficult. I've had to depend completely on Him more than once. When I think about all He has done for me, I am amazed and humbled. The strength I receive from Him, the encouragement I find in the Bible and the friendships I've developed in my church family have served as a balm when I've faced those times. I'd like for you to meet my friend Jesus. He can help you too. It is my desire that if you do not know Him, you will seek Him. He is waiting like a father waiting for his child to return home from a long trip. Imagine His arms outstretched waiting just for you. Here is the path to follow that will lead you directly to Him... Admit to Him that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. Romans 3:23 (NKJV) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Trust in Him. Call out His name. Believe that He is the only Son of God, that He died just for you. John 3:16 (NKJV) says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. Confess your sins to Him. Go ahead name them. You can't tell Him anything He doesn't already know. Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Commit to live your life for Him from now on. Acts 3:19 (NKJV) says, Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Pray, using your own words, ask Him to forgive you of all of your sins. Tell Him if you don't know what to do next; let Him know you are willing to live for Him the best way you can. Ask Him to lead and guide your every move from here on out. Go to church. Find a good congregation with caring members who can help you grow.. Hebrews 10:25 (NKJV) says, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another...
